“Smart Pedicure” is an innovative dry pedicure technique that uses rotating pododiscs.
The MASHAS Extended Pedicure Smart Disc 1″ (25 mm) is designed for professional dry pedicure treatments. This disc features a total length of 1 9/16″ (40 mm), providing improved reach and control during callus and corn removal. These 1″ (25 mm) discs can be used with any MASHAS 1″ (25 mm) sandpaper discs.
I do not recommend using them with pedicure or podiatry drills that have a built-in dust vacuum (such as the MediPro), as the large 1″ (25 mm) disc may block the vacuum port and significantly reduce suction power.
Instead, use the MASHAS Extended Pedicure Smart Disc 1″ (25 mm) with drills that do not have built-in vacuum systems, such as the Brillian B150. For dust removal, use a freestanding vacuum system such as the Air Dust-Free No.1.

Care Tips for MASHAS Extended Pedicure Discs
- Cleaning: Clean with a brush under running water and soap.
- Disinfection: Use an Ultrasonic Cleaner and a disinfectant solution such as Barbicide (5–15 minutes).
- Rinse under running water to remove disinfectant.
- Lay out and dry on a clean towel.
- Sterilization: For final treatment, place dried items in a Hot Air Sterilizer, UV Sterilizer, or Autoclave Steam Sterilizer.
- If you sterilize without pouches, place items in self-sealing sterilization pouches after sterilization for safe storage.
- Proper care of the drill bits prolongs their life and ensures safe use.
