Please note:

• This device is unsuitable if you are doing a “liquid pedicure” using keratolytic or a pedicure involving soaking your feet in water! Wet dust will stick inside the handpiece and damage it! We also do not recommend using it for manicures! It is intended for dry pedicure techniques only!
• The handpiece is very sensitive to the size of the drill shank. If the drill shank diameter is less than 2.31 mm then the drill bit will not fit securely into the handpiece and may fall out during use. Therefore, please verify that the diameter of the drill bits you plan to use is not less than 2.31 mm. If you buy MASHAS branded drill bits, you have nothing to fear! We strictly ensure that our drill bits meet the 2.31-2.35 mm standard.
• Another tip: increase the speed of the drill bit until a slight vibration begins to appear. As soon as a slight vibration begins to appear, it means that you have exceeded the speed threshold. Reduce it a little. Remember this speed and work at it.
• Built-in vacuum. Should we expect it to be able to catch 100% of dust? Yes and no. It depends on the type of dust. The purpose of creating this device is to catch the most dangerous, fine, and volatile dust that can fly in the air. If this fine dust gets into the air, it can settle on all surfaces, including furniture and office equipment. In addition, it will settle on all people in the office, on their clothes, hair and skin. The worst thing is that it can be inhaled, so it can easily even get into the lungs of anyone nearby. These particles can also carry dangerous bacteria 🦠 and microbes 😷. It is clear how important it is to catch this harmful dust. We can assure you that this device copes with this task 100%. However, when a manicurist removes an old coating such as acrylic or gel or cuts the cuticle, this vacuum will not be able to catch all these particles. These completely harmless dust particles are large in size and the drill accelerates them at the speed of a bullet, so it is impossible to catch this type of dust 100%! The device will catch something, but you also need to be realistic and understand that some of these large dust particles will simply fall down onto the floor. Some people spread wet paper towels on the floor to collect it, while others place a basin of water under clients’ feet and thus easily remove what the built-in vacuum couldn’t catch after a pedicure.
• Can I use smart discs (podology discs) with this device? If the disc diameter is 15 mm or more, it will block access to the vacuum and thus greatly reduce the suction power. Therefore, we do not recommend using any drills or discs with a working diameter of more than 15 mm. The ideal option is to use any disc or bit with a working part diameter of no more than 10 mm. We also recommend using a disc or bit with a long shank up to 40 mm.
